![]() Even if it’s just for one time, it’s a rush of nostalgia. Where was this in the other episodes? They went though all the effort of remaking the classic ending scene, just to have it not be used most of the time? The timing is a little off, and we don’t get a pose with the three Powerpuff Girls, but it’s still nice to see this. Narrator: So once again, the day is saved thanks to the Powerpuff Girls! The Powerpuff Girls are back together, Morbucks has been shot into the stratosphere, the Derbytantes are redeemed, but the biggest shock of them all? The Powerpuff Girls use the pieces of the diamond as Deathballs to defeat Morbucks’ giant robot. Apparently their skates are stronger than people who can lift buildings full of people.īuttercup slips out of the robot’s hand, grabs a shard of the diamond, and asks Blossom and Bubbles if they want to play some Deathball. Then the Derbytantes show up! In a twist, it turns out they did become friends with Buttercup in the end, and will put their friendship over the money! They help out by freeing Blossom and Bubbles from the supposedly unbreakable diamond. Buttercup finally shows up, only to be grabbed by the robot. She then turns her supersuit into a giant robot. Morbucks then tells the monster his job is done, and then traps Blossom and Bubbles in an unbreakable diamond. Having no choice, they let Morbucks take over for Buttercup. Meanwhile, Blossom and Bubbles are getting beaten by the monster. I’ll give some credit to the animators: this is a far better beatdown than the one in Man Up. Buttercup doesn’t take it too well, and beats them up. It turns out, Princess paid the Derbytantes off to be Buttercup’s friends and to keep Buttercup away from the other two. I will admit: this is a good joke, with the monster even getting stuck in traffic.īuttercup sees the rampage and tries to help her sisters out, but the Derbytantes get in her way. Blossom and Bubbles refuses again, so Princess brings out her weapon: a dial-a-monster app. Morbucks shows up again to ask to be a Powerpuff Girl again, bringing a super suit. Since she’s too busy playing, Blossom and Bubbles leave. Blossom and Bubbles decide to go right to the Derbytantes hangout, finding out that she’s now a full time member, complete with them calling her “Buttlyn”, a new nickname to fit with the others. ![]() We then see a montage of Buttercup playing deathball with the Derbytantes, while Blossom and Bubbles wonder where she is. Blossom and Bubbles refuses, knowing that Buttercup will come back for them eventually.īlossom: Come on Bubbles, we’ll see Buttercup later. She’s here to inquire about being the replacement Powerpuff Girl, as Buttercup is out of the picture. She now constantly wears a crown, and she’s now voiced by Haley Mancini, even though they still have her old voice actor on board to voice Ms. I guess they didn’t want “princess” to have negative connotations. This is the reboot’s Princess Morbucks, who now mostly goes by her last name. One of the classic villains shows up, introduced in this episode as Princess…Īccording to the Teen Titans Go rulebook, if you put words on the screen and have someone shout it out loud, it’s a laugh riot. Buttercup is intrigued by this, and decides to go with the Derbytantes to find out what it is. …a group of roller derby girls who are clearly not evil. Get it, because Buttercup is different!īuttercup, not interested in girly activities, decides to sit on her own, when the lunch period is interrupted by the Derbytantes. That rascally little green princess comes in, stuffing sloppy joes and pizza in her mouth, and talking about arm wrestling forklifts. Narrator: Ah, lunch at the school cafeteria.Īt the elementary school, Blossom, Bubbles, and Random Friend #1 are scrapbooking with glitter and ribbons.
